The choices we make

There comes a point in life when we realise that circumstance can explain us, but it cannot define us. Uniforms may be given. Traditions may be inherited. Expectations may be imposed. But eventually, what we continue to wear outwardly or inwardly becomes a choice. Some decisions are small and almost invisible. Others alter the trajectory of a life. What we believe. What we question. What we walk away from. What we defend. What we refuse.

These reflections explore the quiet and not-so-quiet choices that shape who we become : not as victims of circumstance, nor as rebels for the sake of rebellion, but as individuals accountable for the direction of our own lives. Because at some point, the responsibility is ours.
